Start by identifying the motorcycle
State the model, model year and mileage. For accessories or non-standard modifications, add what was changed. This tells the workshop which specification and history to go back to.
Describe the situation, not the presumed cause
When does the problem appear? Cold, after warming up, when stationary? What do you actually hear or observe? A factual description helps more than a premature diagnosis that cannot be verified without an inspection.
Have the appointment confirmed
A preferred day is the start of an arrangement, not an automatic capacity reservation. Before you travel, confirm the date and the way of handover. If you suspect a safety defect, contact the workshop first before you set off on the motorcycle.
